My most recent Art Journal has definitely taken some time to finish. I started this one in early January, by tearing watercolor paper, in 2 different weights to make the pages. After covering each sheet with a monoprint background, I used various papers and ephemera to create a collage on the pages. There are 6 folded sheets, which make 12 double sided pages. The cover and spine were cut from stiff mat board, and covered with a piece of my own screen printed fabric. The book was then bound with a pamphlet stitch, and the cover was collaged with wood, stone, and paper.
