Our 11th Annual Art Bar exhibit

Posted by Marcia Hero. The Martini Girls 4 are gearing up for our 11th Annual Art Bar exhibit titled "Off-Kilter".  We will have 60+ artists in this new and fabulous show, and I know the opening reception on Friday, September 1, 2023 from 6 to 9pm is going to be a "not to be missed" experience.

Hope to see you all there--It's always a fantastic time at an Art*Bar Opening Reception!

Marcia's Art stuff: A New Art Journal

Marcia's Art stuff: A New Art Journal: Posted by Marcia Hero  Back in March, I started a new art journal, with the plan to continue it during my trip to Europe with my husband, Chuck.  Well, I completed a few pages in the lounge of the ship during "down time", but didn't quite finish the pages until yesterday.  It turned out to be a Very Eclectic Journal, with some watercolors florals, some leaf prints on fabric, and several abstract collages. Here are pics of a few pages.

Marcia Hero and Debbie Callahan each have a piece in this exhibit!

Art Journal in progress by Marcia Hero

I've already started my next art journal.  Since all of my paintings are finished for our Gallery 2622 show, which opens on Friday, June 2, 2023, I wanted to keep myself busy between more (larger) paintings, which are generally created at our Martini Girls 4 Studio at Inspiration Studios.  This next journal will be very colorful, with a lot more abstract painting and less collage.
